Design Electric, Inc. is looking for an IT Support Specialist for their headquarters in Charlottesville, VA. Take advantage of this highly visible career where you will report directly to the company President and are provided all the tools and support you could possibly need to keep their systems running smoothly. Position is fulltime, M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

If you have at least 3 years of proven experience in an IT support role and a deep understanding of virtualization technology and methodology, Design Electric wants to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain: Microsoft Server operating system, Active Directory, DHCP & Windows 10 workstations
  • Troubleshoot the following programs with the aid of vendor support: Sage Timberline 300 CRE Ver 17, IFS Core Mobile Tech Tool, Accubid Pro 14 Estimating, Microsoft Office 365, Bluebeam Revu
  • Create and modify SQL Reporting Services and ODBC connections
  • Setup and maintenance of MS OneDrive
  • Setup, maintenance and design of MS SharePoint
  • Setup and maintenance of Outlook 365 contacts and groups
  • Setup and maintenance of mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, Android)
  • Provide day to day timely IT support for office and field personnel.
  • Manage the IT reporting systems (Currently Spiceworks) and develop processes for consistent use and related training.
  • Keep all IT systems up and running with minimal disruption and downtime.
  • Routine System maintenance
  • Training of office staff and field on software and devices
  • Manage IT budget.
