Hydrafab Northwest, Inc., a specialized design, engineering, fabrication and project management company, is seeking a CAD Drafter / Programmer to join their team in Spokane Valley, WA. Relocation assistance may be available for a well-qualified candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years of experience/training/education in software programming, computer science, or related discipline.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: CAD, Solidworks, AUTOCAD, DXF, Bystar, Prosoft, Sigma Nest

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed drawings that are utilized in the manufacturing of HNW products
  • Work with engineers and shop personnel to determine specific dimensions, materials, and processes
  • Review all pertinent data regarding a job to create solid models and drawings that accurately describes the customer job and best utilizes HNW resources to complete
  • Interacts with customers to help support the design and development of new products
  • Communicate the design of a project to the team (Engineering, planning, production)
  • Transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents
  • Reviews engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards
