We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Fabrication and Repair Technician to join our team in the Oakboro, NC area. This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing used cooking oil recovery tanks and associated equipment.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

  • Welding experience.
  • Experience in pump motor operation and repair, general electrical and plumbing concepts troubleshooting.
  • Analytical thinking skills, problem solving ability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer a two-year college degree program in the following disciplines (mechanical, electrical, welding).

Essential Functions:

  • Provide fabrication, installation and repair of used cooking oil recovery tanks
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical and plumbing systems including pumps, motors, and plumbed piped runs associated with the operation of used cooking oil tanks in commercial food service establishments.
