IMRA America, Inc. is searching for a Photonic Laser Research Scientist for their research facility in Boulder, CO.


Working in a small team of the best and brightest researchers and engineers in the industry, you will design and characterize integrated photonic devices as well as conduct application research of chip-scale optical frequency comb. If you have the following, IMRA wants to hear from you:


  • A Ph.D. in integrated photonics, nonlinear optics, laser physics, physics, electronic engineering, or another optics-related major.
  • Expertise in numerical simulation of chip-scale photonic devices.
  • Solid technical background on experimental demonstration of integrated photonic devices.
  • Skilled in CAD software is preferred.
  • A good deal of knowledge on compound semiconductor material is preferred.
  • A good deal of knowledge on fabrication of integrated photonic devices is preferred.
