Jacobs Boiler and Mechanical Industries, Inc. is searching for an experienced Boiler Technician to join their team in the Chicago, IL area.

In this role, you will be handling repairs, maintenance, installation, and cleaning of industrial and commercial steel and cast-iron low-pressure boilers, gas-fired burners and vacuum pumps.

If you have experience servicing high- and low-pressure boilers in an industrial or commercial environment, they want to hear from you!

About the Company: Jacobs Boiler’s history dates back to the early 1920s when Andrew Jacobs worked on locomotives for the railroad in Topeka, Kansas. He moved his growing family to Chicago to start his own business and in 1922 Jacobs Welding and Boiler Works began servicing the Chicago area. His sons, George, Clarence, Tom and Jim, took over and expanded the business to become Jacobs Boiler & Mechanical Industries, Inc. In 1985, Jacobs Boiler moved from the Lakeview neighborhood into their current larger facility on West Diversey Avenue. Jacobs’ third and fourth generations are proud of their history of servicing the Chicago area for more than 90 years.
