We are looking for a Transportation Safety Supervisor to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. This is a critical role responsible for leading teams to high DOT safety standards.

As a member of the team, you can expect:

  • Above average compensation package: $60,000 - $70,000/year depending on experience

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in transportation safety, occupational safety, transportation management or closely related field desired
  • DOT enforcement experience or 5+ years of work experience in transportation related industry
  • Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain one
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access)
  • Ability to climb and work at heights of 20 feet with proper PP
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality training to commercial drivers and transportation professionals on DOT regulations, defensive driving, and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor on board computer data to ensure adherence to all DOT regulations
  • Review and plan remediation for drivers who are not meeting safety standards
  • Conduct DOT style audits
  • Develop job safety analysis
