Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Quality Laboratory Technician to join our regional lab team at Valley Proteins Linkwood, MD facility. This position is critical to the success of the organization and will monitor, review, examine, and conduct testing to ensure that all manufacturing processes at the facility are performed in accordance to written policies and procedures and are following applicable compliance standards. In this role, you will conduct testing and evaluation of incoming raw materials as well as outgoing finished products. This position will also participate in investigations into quality issues and work with the team to resolve and prevent future product quality concerns.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

• 2-4 years of successful work experience in a laboratory setting, conducting testing, documenting results and summarizing activity.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in technical or science related field, experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced industrial process manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work varying work schedules, overtime or weekends as business needs require.
