Qualified candidates must have:

  • Machine repair experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience with blow molding machinery and processes is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Ensure that various aspects of manufacturing run smoothly; raw materials required for production are well stocked and delivered on timed and finished products are properly packed and either shipping or stored in warehouses
  • Supervise and monitor production set-ups, operations, breakdowns and adjustments according to operation procedures
  • Communicate with all other applicable departments regarding problem areas and/or repairs
  • Ensure that all production output meets or exceeds defined specifications
  • Supervise and monitor the safety and security of assigned personnel and the manufacturing facility. Educate personnel on the importance of abiding by all safety rules and regulations and direct the shift to safety in an emergency situation
  • Supervise personnel for all medical emergencies and/or accidents
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company organizational policies/procedures and applicable laws/regulations
  • Follows plant job specification and task list
